RockSchool’s Musical Director coach, G, has a wealth of teaching experience, and as a coach at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, students gain an elevated level of training and musical education. Lessons are tailored to the individual and are suitable for all ages and abilities, from the complete beginner to experienced students wishing to improve their skills!
Beginners will study the fundamentals of keys as well as the musical terminology and how to read piano music, then improvisational skills will be developed by exploring a wide variation of musical pieces.
For the more advanced students, or for those looking to progress further, lessons will be focussed on advancing knowledge of musical theory and musical terminology. Lessons will be more technical, examining chord progressions and key signatures to strengthen understanding and improvisational skills.
Students wishing to take an academic route will gain Industry relevant qualifications with the contemporary RSL.
Music students can also put their music skills into action and experience a live gig environment in our group RockBand sessions.
